Not all coaching journeys are the same, just as not all coaches end up in the same destination whether your personal aims are high-performance, development, community pathways or school based. There are a myriad of options available to coaches once they set out on their path.
hayden Coaching has been created to share one coach's journey in the hope it may inspire others that are either coaching, or progressing to becoming a coach. Hayden will share what has shaped the journey, the change in scenery from vastly different sports, to working with city based athletes across Australia and the United States of America through to remote based Indigenous athletes in North East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.
These coaching experiences have confirmed to Hayden that athletes, no matter their station in life, seek to experience bonds of team ship, a sense of belonging to something bigger than self, of giving oneself to a higher cause whether that be a team championship, rebuilding a clubs reputation or leaving a guernsey or jersey in a better place for those who follow.
